Cognitive / Nootropic
Selank
Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro · synthetic tuftsin analog
What it is
Selank is a Russian-developed seven-amino-acid peptide modeled on the immune-modulating molecule tuftsin. Marketed in Russia as an anxiolytic. Often paired with Semax for the combination of focus + reduced anxiety.
How it works
Modulates the GABA system without binding directly to GABA receptors (so no sedation, no addiction potential). Also affects serotonin and dopamine pathways, BDNF expression, and immune signaling. Result: anxiety reduction without cognitive blunting.
