What it is

N-Acetyl Semax is regular Semax with an acetyl group attached to the N-terminus. This protects it from breakdown enzymes, extending half-life and producing a smoother, longer effect. Most experienced Semax users prefer the acetylated version.

How it works

Same mechanism as regular Semax: BDNF upregulation, dopamine modulation, neuroprotection. The acetyl modification just makes it last longer (approximately 24 hours instead of 4–6).
